According to a post on her LinkedIn profile, Belinda Boa, one of BlackRock's senior female executives and an active equity specialist, is set to leave the company after more than 25 years of service.
Based in Singapore, Boa serves as BlackRock's Head of Active Investments for Asia Pacific and Chief Investment Officer for Emerging Markets Fundamental Equities. In a post published on Monday, she indicated that this week marks the conclusion of a significant chapter in her life. BlackRock has not yet responded to requests for comment via email or telephone messages.
Based on her corporate biography at BlackRock, Boa's responsibilities spanned all areas of the firm's active investment business, including fixed income, multi-asset management, and fundamental equities. Previously, she held the position of Head of Risk and Quantitative Analysis for the Asia Pacific region.
BlackRock attracted $342 billion in client funds in the fourth quarter of 2025, raising its assets under management to a record $14 trillion. The company is also in the process of integrating a series of recent acquisitions, positioning itself as a significant force in the private markets.
