AGTECH HOLDINGS (08729) shares climbed more than 15% in Hong Kong trading, reaching HK$0.82 with a turnover of HK$11.3852 million as of press time.
On July 23, the company announced that its subsidiary, TGX, has officially strengthened its collaboration with the Hong Kong Gold Exchange. The two parties will jointly establish a joint venture to deepen their strategic partnership in the digital infrastructure for precious metals trading, aiming to comprehensively upgrade Hong Kong's precious metals trading, clearing, and settlement systems.
Building on the strong foundation of their previous technical service cooperation, the formation of this joint venture marks an iterative upgrade in the collaboration model between the two entities.
Notably, in June this year, AGTECH HOLDINGS submitted an application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for a transfer to the Main Board. The board believes that a Main Board listing will enhance the group's brand recognition as a comprehensive financial technology conglomerate, strengthen its engagement with users, merchants, financial institutions, business partners, and investors, and support the group's ability to continue capturing and expanding business opportunities within its current market positioning.
