Robinhood (HOOD) shares surged 5.05% intraday on Monday, rebounding from a multi-day post-earnings selloff as investors reacted to a series of positive business developments.

The rally was fueled by the announcement that Robinhood Ventures Fund II (RVII) has launched the roadshow for its initial public offering, aiming to raise up to $200 million by offering 8 million shares at $25 each. The fund plans to invest in early- and growth-stage private companies, with a focus on participants in the Y Combinator startup accelerator program. Additionally, Robinhood secured UK crypto registration from the Financial Conduct Authority, clearing a key regulatory hurdle ahead of the country's new crypto licensing framework. The approval allows Robinhood to offer cryptocurrency services in the UK and positions the company favorably before the new regulatory regime takes effect in late 2027.

The positive momentum also reflects investor optimism around Robinhood's evolving business model, as the company's prediction market revenue surged more than tenfold year-over-year in the second quarter, surpassing both equities and cryptocurrency to become the second-largest transaction-based revenue stream. Despite Cantor Fitzgerald lowering its price target to $115 from $130, the firm maintained an Overweight rating on the stock, signaling continued confidence in Robinhood's long-term growth trajectory.
