Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger, during an analyst call, stated that the ongoing contest involving Paramount Skydance, Netflix, and Warner Bros. Discovery should highlight the immense value of intellectual property for investors. Having orchestrated several deals to expand Disney's IP portfolio during his tenure as CEO, Iger expressed no current interest in acquiring additional assets. Instead, Disney is concentrating on enhancing the value of its existing intellectual property through investments across its various business segments, such as the company's ongoing construction of a "Frozen"-themed land at its Paris park. Iger also remarked, "The Zootopia land in Shanghai is massive, both in scale and value," adding, "The proportion of visitors to Shanghai Disneyland who go specifically for the Zootopia land is exceptionally, exceptionally high."
