Huishang Bank Corporation Limited announced that its Board has approved, and will submit to the forthcoming shareholders’ general meeting, a proposal to prolong both its A-Share Offering Plan and the accompanying Authorisation Resolution by another 12 months beyond their current expiry date of 29 June 2026.
The A-Share Offering Plan—first endorsed at the 2018 annual general meeting and renewed annually from 2019 through 2024—aims at an initial public offering and listing of A shares on a mainland stock exchange. The related Authorisation Resolution empowers the Board to handle all specific matters linked to the proposed flotation.
All substantive terms of the A-Share Offering Plan and the Authorisation Resolution remain unchanged; only the validity period is extended to ensure continuity of preparatory work. A circular detailing the resolutions will be dispatched to shareholders in due course, and the proposals will be put to a vote at the upcoming general meeting.
Management reiterated that completion of the A-share issuance is not assured and advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the Bank’s H shares.
