Losses in the Hong Kong stock market deepened during the afternoon session. The Hang Seng Index saw its decline widen to 2%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped by 1.6%. Among individual stocks, Zijin Mining Group and China Life Insurance fell more than 5%.
