Wei Yuan Holdings Limited reported that every ordinary resolution tabled at its Annual General Meeting on 16 June 2026 was approved by poll, each attracting 99.82% of votes cast in favour (543.25 million) versus 0.18% (0.96 million) against.
Key resolutions endorsed included: • Adoption of the audited financial statements and accompanying reports for the year ended 31 December 2025. • Re-election of Executive Director Ng Tian Soo and Independent Non-executive Director George Christopher Holland, with authorisation for the board to determine directors’ remuneration. • Re-appointment of Moore CPA Limited as external auditor, with fee authority delegated to the board.
Shareholders also renewed three mandates: 1) Authority for directors to allot and issue new shares up to 20% of issued share capital. 2) Authority to repurchase up to 10% of issued shares. 3) Extension of the issuance mandate by the number of shares repurchased.
The poll covered the full 1.064 billion issued shares eligible to vote; no shares required abstention and no treasury shares were outstanding. Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited acted as poll scrutineer. All board members attended either in person or electronically.
