东部时间1030 - 尽管存在通胀担忧、供应商价格上涨以及近期需求和利润预期下降等问题，PNC金融的一项调查发现，84%的企业主对其自身业务的前景持乐观态度。这项半年度调查显示，这一数字较春季的78%和去年秋季的76%呈上升趋势。约58%的企业主对国家经济持乐观态度，高于去年春季的50%。约44%的企业对全球经济持乐观态度。
根据调查，企业主预见其业务在未来六个月面临的最大潜在风险是通胀，46%的受访者表示极为担忧，44%的受访者认为未来12个月内可能出现经济衰退，其中16%认为"极有可能"，28%认为"有些可能"。不到一半的受访者（48%）预期其利润在未来六个月内会增长。
