美国电力宣布将其五年资本支出计划从之前的540亿美元提高至720亿美元，以应对包括数据中心和工业企业在内的大负荷客户前所未有的电力需求。该公司表示，目前已获得客户协议支持的新增负荷达28千兆瓦，较7月份增加4千兆瓦，另有190千兆瓦负荷请求处于不同发展阶段。美国电力预计，到2030年，其系统峰值需求将从目前的37千兆瓦激增至65千兆瓦。
在财务表现方面，美国电力第三季度总营业收入同比增长近11%，达到60.1亿美元。公司重申了全年调整后每股利润5.75美元至5.95美元的预期，并表示有望达到这一区间的上半部分。此外，美国电力还预计未来五年内每股经营收益将以9%的年复合增长率增长，展现出强劲的长期增长前景。
