August 18th - The "Game Factory" Game Jam·Unity China Development Challenge special event, jointly initiated by Zhihu and Unity's Tuanjie Engine, has officially commenced. Twenty game development teams from 22 cities across the country are participating in a 48-hour closed demo development challenge centered around the theme "Hit!". The top 5 works with the highest comprehensive evaluation scores will earn direct qualification to the finals of the "2025 Unity China Development Challenge".
According to reports, the "2025 Unity China Development Challenge" opened its registration channels to global developers in August this year. The game development competition is divided into three different tracks: mini-games, HarmonyOS/iOS/Android games, and PC games.
The Game Jam encourages developers to explore and utilize AI gameplay, attempting to integrate AI into gameplay design. The event provides participating developers with free access to AI development resources including Tuanjie Muse, Tripo AI, and Amazon Q, helping them create better works. The participating works in this competition have extensively utilized AI capabilities, including AI-generated code, AI-generated artwork, AI-generated music, and AI-generated storyline dialogues and voice.
