消息面，巴西高等选举法院当地时间5日凌晨公布巴西总统选举首轮投票最终计票结果，弗拉维奥·博索纳罗获得最多选票，得票率为47.03%；卢拉以得票率45.16%排名第二；其他候选人的得票率均低于3%。本次投票率为78.92%，有超过3346万人未参与投票。
根据投票结果，由于无人胜出，得票最多的前总统雅伊尔·博索纳罗之子、自由党候选人弗拉维奥·博索纳罗和巴西现任总统、劳工党候选人卢拉将于10月25日进行第二轮角逐。
