MINISO Group Holding Limited has formed a new AI Innovation Department under its Digital Technology Center. The department's primary mission is to advance the company's intelligent transformation in business decision-making and workplace collaboration through the development of AI agent capabilities.

The department has already begun recruiting for multiple roles, including site selection algorithm engineers, forecasting algorithm engineers, Agent R&D engineers, AI solution engineers, AI agent development specialists, and Python development engineers.

Job descriptions indicate that the AI Innovation Department is focusing on two main research areas. The first is intelligent business decision-making, which covers smart site selection and spatial data modeling, global and regional sales forecasting, and supply chain operations optimization. The second is the development of core AI agent capabilities, including the creation of Agent Skills for office and business scenarios, MCP service architecture design, and research into multi-agent collaboration frameworks.

In recent years, MINISO's founder, Ye Guofu, has repeatedly emphasized the importance of digitalization and intelligentization. In his New Year address to employees for 2025, Ye stated that committing to digital efficiency means fully embracing the AI revolution and leveraging advanced digital tools and platforms to achieve automation, standardization, and visualization of business processes.
