StarHub acquires remaining 49.9% of MyRepublic Broadband for 94.3 million Singapore dollars

StarHub Ltd (CC3) said its wholly owned subsidiary, StarHub Online Pte. Ltd., completed the purchase of 2,162,317 ordinary shares—representing 49.9% of MyRepublic Broadband Pte. Ltd.—on Aug, 11 2025 for about 94.3 million Singapore dollars.

With the transaction, StarHub Online’s stake in MyRepublic Broadband rises from 50.1% to 100%, making the broadband provider a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of StarHub.

The consideration was met through internal cash resources and by offsetting a loan owed to StarHub Online by MyRepublic Holdings Ltd., the vendor’s parent company.

Based on unaudited results for the 12 months ended Dec, 31 2024, the aggregate net asset value attributable to the acquired shares and certain related assets was negative 0.60 million Singapore dollars.
