Weigao Group repurchases 360,000 H shares; treasury stock rises to 64.54 million

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited reported a fresh on-market share buyback on 10 September 2026, purchasing 360,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 3.14 and HKD 3.165. The outlay totalled HKD 1.14 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.0081 % to 4.46 billion shares. Treasury shares increased from 64.18 million to 64.54 million, while the total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 4.52 billion.

The repurchases form part of the mandate approved on 29 May 2026, which authorises Weigao Group to buy back up to 446.46 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now stand at 7.22 million shares, representing 1.62 % of the issued share count on the mandate date.

All shares bought back on 10 September 2026 are being held as treasury stock; none have been cancelled. Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, extending through 11 October 2026.
