Nameson reported its FY2026 Environmental, Social and Governance performance, highlighting three core developments:

1. Decarbonisation roadmap • The Science Based Targets initiative has validated group-wide near-term objectives to cut absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 52.48 % and Scope 3 emissions by 27.50 % by FY2031 (baseline FY2023). • A separate target for Hebei Factory requires a 46.20 % reduction in Scope 1 and 2 and a 27.50 % reduction in Scope 3 by FY2031 (baseline FY2024). • Total Scope 1 and 2 emissions increased 18.20 % year-on-year to 118,350 tCO₂e, while carbon intensity fell 2.50 % to 1.72 kg per production unit. Energy-saving initiatives, including wood-pellet boilers and planned equipment upgrades, underpin the emissions trajectory.

2. Renewable energy acceleration • New rooftop arrays at First Team and Able Joy factories in Vietnam added 7.65 MW of capacity. • Across China and Vietnam, solar output reached 15,973 MWh, avoiding 9,520 tCO₂e. • Solar now supplies 14,340 MWh of internal consumption, with surplus power from Huizhou factories sold to the national grid.

3. Social investment and governance • Community donations totalled HK$4.90 million, almost doubling the prior year, with emphasis on youth education and disaster relief. • 2,524 employees and directors received anti-corruption training; no compliance breaches were recorded. • ISO 45001 certification was secured for Hebei Factory, and Higg FEM/FSLM verifications placed Chinese and Vietnamese sites above 95 % on step-score metrics.

Nameson said an energy audit at Huizhou factories has identified opportunities that could curb emissions by roughly 4,100 tCO₂e and will be prioritised according to cost-benefit feasibility. The group will also assess further solar installation and continue phasing out coal at its remaining fabric facilities in Vietnam.
