港股ASMPT(00522)今日盘中大幅下挫6.13%,引发市场关注。公司公告称,已终止与潜在要约人就可能私有化的商讨,有关可能私有化要约期亦随之结束。
ASMPT是全球主要的半导体制程装备方案供货商。去年10月底,公司曾公布接获一名独立第三方提出可能私有化方案,但经过数月商讨后双方未能达成一致,最终决定终止私有化计划。
分析人士指出,私有化有望令ASMPT在缩减成本和管理集中的同时,获得长线投资者支持。但现在私有化计划告吹,可能令市场对公司前景产生疑虑,加上缺乏新的利好消息支撑,使得股价受到重挫。不过目前仍未能完全确定股价大跌的具体原因。
