Henan Province will enhance key livelihood safeguards, reinforce the employment-first policy direction, improve essential public services such as education, healthcare, and social security, stabilize prices of agricultural products including live hogs, and carry out educational activities to establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, guiding Party members and officials to work diligently for the benefit of the people.

According to an announcement from Henan, on April 30, Provincial Party Committee Secretary Liu Ning presided over a standing committee meeting of the provincial party committee. The meeting emphasized the need to fully utilize macro policies, strengthen coordination and collaboration, implement relevant work measures already issued by the province, enhance economic performance monitoring, and continuously increase the certainty and sustainability of high-quality development.

It was highlighted that efforts should be made to expand domestic demand by refining projects, focusing on key areas such as modern water networks, new-type power grids, computing power networks, urban underground pipeline networks, and logistics networks. The province will promote the implementation of "dual key" and "dual new" projects according to schedule, accelerate the formation of tangible work outputs, and explore more investment and consumption scenarios.

Accelerating transformation through innovation was underscored, with a focus on deepening integration into the national unified market, leveraging scientific and technological innovation to drive industrial innovation, and further expanding the "Data Factor x" and "AI Plus" initiatives to rapidly cultivate and strengthen new productive forces.

The meeting also called for prudent risk prevention and control, increasing efforts to manage various risks in key areas of economic operations, ensuring basic safeguards at the grassroots level, and better balancing development and security.

As the May Day holiday approaches, the meeting urged maintaining a bottom-line and extreme-scenario mindset, exercising caution in production safety work, implementing multiple measures to ensure smooth and safe transportation, strengthening comprehensive social governance, and conducting thorough monitoring and order maintenance at transport hubs, tourist attractions, and key commercial districts to ensure a safe and peaceful holiday for the public.
