On November 7, reports emerged that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM), which manufactures wafers for companies like Apple, NVIDIA, and AMD, is advancing the mass production of its 2nm process technology. During the Q3 earnings call, CEO and Chairman C.C. Wei confirmed that the 2nm process is on track for mass production later this quarter with promising yields. He also noted that driven by smartphone and high-performance AI computing demand, production capacity is expected to ramp up rapidly next year.

Notably, the upcoming release of the iPhone 17 has led to a continuous price drop for the iPhone 16. According to a leading tech media report, the iPhone 16 was recently sold for just 239 yuan in an event on Paiyide (www.paiyide.net), setting a new record low since its launch.
