白宫政府预计将于周五发布指令，拟推行一项紧急电力拍卖计划，科技公司将通过竞标方式出资建设新发电厂。
知情人士透露，根据该指令，美国最大电网运营商PJM互联公司将被告知举行专项电力拍卖，科技企业可竞投为期15年的购电合约，以支持新建发电设施。
PJM电网覆盖美国13个州，近期人工智能热潮推动的数据中心建设浪潮已使其电网容量持续承压，并抬高了近期电力拍卖成本。
白宫表示，其领导下的"国家能源主导力委员会"及宾夕法尼亚、俄亥俄、弗吉尼亚等多州州长正敦促该电网运营商采取紧急措施提升能源供应、抑制价格飙升。
白宫发言人泰勒·罗杰斯表示："确保美国民众获得可靠、廉价的电力是特朗普总统的首要任务之一，此举将为大西洋沿岸中部地区提供亟需的长期纾解。"
美国总统特朗普本周稍早在社交媒体上表态："我绝不让美国人因数据中心而支付更高电费。"他透露政府正与多家美国科技公司协作，"未来数周将有重大消息公布"。
市场分析指出，此次政策若实施，将直接惠及已从PJM电网需求增长中获利的电力生产商，包括Vistra、Constellation Energy及NRG Energy等上市公司。
