YUNNAN ENERGY (01298) has announced its financial performance for 2025, revealing revenue of approximately HK$393 million, which represents a decrease of 31.9% compared to the previous year. The company recorded a net loss of HK$898,000, shifting from a profit to a loss year-on-year. The loss per share was HK$0.33 cent. According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was primarily due to reduced income and gross profit from the supply chain business. This decrease in supply chain business revenue was mainly attributed to lower demand for certain agricultural products, including Panax notoginseng, as well as the group's implementation of stricter risk assessment measures, which led to a scaling back of certain commodity businesses, including electrolytic copper.
