Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg are among the tech executives expected to attend a Tuesday luncheon with President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai will also attend the lunch, the company confirmed on Monday; Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will be present as well. OpenAI President Greg Brockman is also slated to attend.

According to a White House official, Trump, Vice President Vance, and other administration officials will host an all-day event on Tuesday to unveil a new website providing federal information and resources. The event will feature panel discussions centered on artificial intelligence, energy, space, and other topics.

A person familiar with the plans said Anthropic co-founder and Chief Computing Officer Tom Brown will also attend the event. Amodei had a private dinner with Trump last Sunday.

Tuesday's gathering could offer tech leaders, especially Amodei, another opportunity to ease tensions with the White House, as debates over AI safety have intensified and leaders have taken sides on potential regulation. A former Anthropic researcher accused frontier AI labs of "gambling with our lives," sparking a strong backlash. After Amodei authored an article calling on companies to "slow the frontier pace" on advanced AI, industry leaders including OpenAI's Altman and Musk endorsed calls for an industry-wide slowdown. On the other hand, Trump has publicly pushed back, calling AI fears a "hoax" and a "trick" in recent weeks.
