TRIUMPH NEW EN (01108) dropped more than 3%, declining 3.14% to HK$3.7 by the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$13.18 million. Based on preliminary calculations by the company's finance department, TRIUMPH NEW EN announced it expects the net loss attributable to shareholders for the 2025 fiscal year to increase by between 90.07 million yuan and 290 million yuan compared to the previous year. The net loss after excluding non-recurring gains or losses is projected to widen by approximately 160 million yuan to 360 million yuan year-on-year. For the 2024 fiscal year, the net loss attributable to the company's shareholders was approximately 610 million yuan, while the net loss after excluding non-recurring items was about 642 million yuan. The announcement indicated the primary reasons for the operating loss in this reporting period were, first, the persistent supply-demand pressure in the photovoltaic glass market, which led to a further decline in the company's gross profit from photovoltaic glass. Second, adhering to the principle of prudence, the company made impairment provisions for assets showing signs of devaluation.
