Dell Shares Hit Record High, Climbing Over 4% in Thursday Trading

Continuing its upward momentum from a nearly 16% surge on Wednesday, Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL.US) added more than 4% on Thursday, reaching $515.20 per share and setting a new all-time high.

According to its earnings report, for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, which ended on July 31, Dell generated $46.97 billion in revenue, marking a 58% increase year-over-year and surpassing the analyst consensus of $44.92 billion. Net income for the quarter stood at $4.13 billion, translating to $6.34 per share, a more than threefold jump from $1.16 billion or $1.70 per share in the same quarter last year. On an adjusted basis, which excludes stock-based compensation expenses, earnings per share came in at $7.04, significantly exceeding the $4.92 that analysts had projected.

Looking ahead, Dell provided strong guidance for the third fiscal quarter. The company anticipates adjusted EPS of $6.50 on revenue of $49 billion, implying a year-over-year revenue growth of approximately 81%. Analysts had previously estimated adjusted EPS of $4.49 and revenue of $41.42 billion for the quarter.
