LEADER EDU (01449) announced that on October 27, 2025, Heilongjiang Institute of Business and Technology entered into financial lease agreements and specific agreements with HAITONG UT, pertaining to a financial leasing arrangement.

Through this arrangement, the group will secure financial resources to fund the construction of its campus and meet general working capital needs. The group's operations will remain unaffected as the agreements do not involve transferring asset ownership or usage rights to HAITONG UT.

Under International Financial Reporting Standards, the transactions under this financial leasing arrangement do not constitute an asset sale and thus will not generate any gains or losses recorded in the group's income statement. Upon lease expiration, the group will pay a nominal retention fee to reclaim the leased assets.

In essence, both practically and in accounting terms, this financial leasing arrangement functions similarly to a secured loan.
