Xiaomi Group founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun stated during a live broadcast on February 10 that the company's battery packs are constructed by arranging battery cells row by row. Behind each row of cells, a double-sided liquid cooling layer is installed. This design ensures that if any single cell fails, heat can be rapidly dissipated, significantly enhancing safety.

In addition to the double-sided cooling system, the battery pack also incorporates cooling plates to further assist in heat dissipation. Moreover, aerogel insulation is placed between individual cells to improve thermal management.

Lei Jun emphasized, "Our battery packs have undergone more than 1,000 tests, many of which exceed the requirements of national standards. We take safety very seriously."
