According to an internal memo, JPMorgan Chase has hired Zhang Yi, who will co-lead the firm's China investment banking operations alongside Michelle Wang. Zhang Yi joins from Goldman Sachs, marking the second senior Chinese banker to depart the U.S. investment bank within two months. Zhang is scheduled to begin his new role at JPMorgan in the summer. A spokesperson for JPMorgan confirmed the details outlined in the memo, while a representative for Goldman Sachs declined to comment.
