The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Beijing Municipal Government, was held in Beijing from September 10-14. At the "Global Building Economy Ecology Conference," a key thematic forum of CIFTIS, COSCO's Beijing CBD core area Z6 project was awarded the honorary title of "Participating Unit in the Development of Group Standards for Commercial Building Net-Zero Operations and Carbon Neutrality Evaluation Standards."
As China's first super high-rise office building to receive "Net-Zero Carbon Excellence Certification," COSCO Beijing CBD Z6 project represents both a landmark achievement of COSCO Group's response to China's "dual carbon" strategy and demonstrates China's cutting-edge exploration in green low-carbon transformation in the construction sector. The project systematically integrates green principles and digital intelligence concepts from design to operations, incorporating advanced low-carbon technologies on a large scale, including rooftop photovoltaic power generation, high-efficiency energy systems, intelligent lighting control, and gravity potential energy recovery elevators. The project also actively introduces green electricity trading mechanisms, significantly improving clean energy utilization rates and successfully establishing a carbon neutrality solution covering the entire lifecycle of super high-rise buildings.
With its systematic practices and leading achievements in green building and carbon neutrality fields, COSCO Beijing CBD Z6 project earned high praise from domestic and international experts and industry peers at this conference. Its participation in developing building carbon neutrality evaluation standards further highlights COSCO Group's leading position in green building standards system construction.
