HONWORLD GROUP LIMITED (2226) Announces Executive Director and CEO Changes

Honworld Group Limited (2226) issued an announcement on 5 November 2025 regarding changes to its leadership. According to the document, Mr. Zhu Bing tendered his resignation as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, effective 5 November 2025, due to other business commitments. Mr. Li Qinghua was appointed as an Executive Director and CEO, also effective 5 November 2025. The announcement notes that Mr. Li, aged 40, has been the deputy secretary of the Party committee and deputy general manager of Huzhou Wuxing Guokong Investment Operation Development Group Co., Ltd. since September 2025. His career history includes positions at the Tourism Bureau in Nanyue District, Hengyang City, in Hunan Province from July 2008 to July 2009; an officer role at Zhen Tou Town, Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province from July 2009 to September 2009; and successive roles such as deputy director of the Urban Construction and Land Management Office and deputy principal staff member in different departments in Wuyuan County from September 2009 to August 2012. Subsequently, he served in the Office of the CPC Wuxing District Committee in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, overseeing sections including Rule of Law and Comprehensive Research, until November 2015. From November 2015 to January 2016, he was a member of the office leadership team of the same committee and head of the Comprehensive Research Section. From January 2016 to March 2017, he was a member of the office leadership team and headed the Policy Research Section I of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Wuxing District Committee in Huzhou City, then became deputy director of the same office between March 2017 and November 2018. He later served as deputy town mayor of Miaoxi Town, Wuxing District, from November 2018 to October 2019, followed by roles at Xisai Mountain Tourism Resort and Miaoxi Town, Wuxing District, until February 2024. From February 2024 to September 2025, he was the deputy secretary of the Party committee and Level-II Principal Staff Member of Daixi Town, Wuxing District. Mr. Li has received recognition from the Zhejiang Provincial Committee, as well as from the CPC Wuxing District Committee and the People’s Government of Wuxing District. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Hunan University of Technology and Business, majoring in Business Administration.

The announcement states that a three-year service agreement has been entered into with Mr. Li, commencing 5 November 2025. Under this arrangement, Mr. Li will not receive a director’s fee for his executive directorship, and his remuneration remains subject to review by the company’s remuneration committee and board. He has no interest in shares of the company as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, nor any relationship with fellow directors, senior management, or substantial or controlling shareholders.

The board offered a warm welcome to Mr. Li on his appointment, while extending its thanks to Mr. Zhu Bing for his service to the company.
