家电制造商惠而浦表示，即使最高法院驳回了特朗普总统大部分激进的关税政策，该公司相对于其外国竞争对手仍将保持优势。
与主要竞争对手多位于亚洲不同，这家总部位于密歇根州的公司其销往美国市场的产品大部分在国内生产。数月来，该公司一直表示其美国工厂将为其带来竞争优势。然而，在法院裁决公布后，惠而浦股价一度下跌超过5%，随后才略有回升。
该公司指出，针对进口家电的钢铁关税及其他关税措施依然有效。惠而浦表示，这些措施，连同特朗普于周五宣布的10%全球关税，使其有信心最终将从本届政府的贸易政策中获益。
