MICOT PHARMA-B (02335) rose more than 3%, trading at HK$29.94 as of the time of reporting, up 3.17%, with a turnover of HK$6.303 million. On August 10, the company announced that preclinical and Phase I clinical data for its injectable neuroprotective candidate drug, MT200605, developed for treating acute ischemic stroke (AIS), have been accepted for oral presentation at the 18th World Stroke Conference in 2026 (WSC 2026).

The Phase I clinical study of MT200605 was conducted in both China and the United States, aiming to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy subjects. Alongside the acceptance of preclinical and Phase I data for oral presentation at WSC 2026, the Phase II clinical trial for MT200605 in acute ischemic stroke has achieved statistically significant and clinically relevant results, meeting its primary endpoint.

Detailed clinical data will be disclosed at future international academic conferences and published in academic journals. Based on the existing Phase II results, MT200605 has demonstrated significant and robust efficacy in patients with acute ischemic stroke, with a favorable safety and tolerability profile.
