Glory Flame 2025 ESG Report: Greenhouse Gas Emissions Down 29%, 10% Further Cut Targeted by 2029

Glory Flame Holdings (Stock Code 08059) has published its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 December 2025, detailing material progress in carbon reduction, resource management and workplace safety across its concrete demolition and prefabricated construction businesses in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Environmental Performance • Greenhouse gases: Total emissions fell to 256.78 tonnes CO₂-e, a 29.20% decline from 362.70 tonnes in 2024. Emission intensity improved to 2.79 tonnes per employee (2024: 3.74 tonnes). • Air pollutants: Aggregate NOx, SOx and PM emissions totalled 432.74 kg, equivalent to 4.70 kg per employee (2024: 5.34 kg). • Energy and water: Electricity use rose 6.70% to 284,225 MWh; water consumption more than doubled to 7,875 m³, lifting per-employee water intensity to 85.60 m³ (2024: 38.40 m³). • Waste: Paper waste increased to 1,298 kg (2024: 880 kg), or 14.10 kg per employee. The Group reported no hazardous waste generation. • Targets: Benchmarking 2024 levels, Glory Flame aims to cut greenhouse-gas emissions, waste disposal and energy consumption by 10% by 2029.

Occupational Health & Safety • Zero work-related fatalities for the third consecutive year. • Three reportable accidents resulted in 447 lost workdays (2024: 340 days). • Enhanced site safety through regular toolbox talks, PPE enforcement and drone-assisted inspections; full compliance with Hong Kong and PRC OHS regulations.

Workforce Snapshot • Headcount: 92 full-time employees (2024: 97); 80% male, 20% female. • Turnover rate: 18% (male 15%, female 3%). • Training: 144 total hours delivered; average 12 hours per employee. • Anti-corruption: 10 hours of staff training; no corruption or AML cases reported.

Supply Chain & Product Quality • 57 active suppliers (50 in Hong Kong, six in Mainland China, one in the US). • ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system and Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency accreditation for ready-mixed concrete operations; no client complaints or claims received during the year.

Governance & Compliance • No material non-compliance with environmental, labour, health-and-safety, product responsibility or anti-corruption laws and regulations reported in 2025. • Board maintains quarterly oversight of ESG strategy; climate-related risk management aligned with TCFD recommendations.

Community Engagement • Continued participation in the Hong Kong/Guangdong Cleaner Production Partnership Programme, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to “green building, green life.”
