On October 30, the GAC Hyper GT Lite Edition officially debuted, offering two CLTC-rated range options: 560 km and 630 km, with starting prices of ¥153,800 and ¥158,800, respectively.

The Lite Edition comes with four key benefits: lifetime battery/motor/electronics warranty, extended vehicle warranty, roadside assistance, and complimentary data services.

Positioned as a youthful performance coupe, the Hyper GT Lite Edition delivers a fresh option for young drivers seeking dynamic handling and cutting-edge style.

As the only mid-to-large performance coupe in its price segment, the Lite Edition inherits the core mechanical prowess of the Hyper GT lineup. With dimensions of 4,886 × 1,885 × 1,449 mm and a 2,920 mm wheelbase, it achieves an ultra-tight 5.3-meter turning radius—enhancing urban maneuverability, especially in narrow streets or compact parking spaces. Its Quark electric drive system generates 180 kW of power and 355 N·m of torque, enabling rapid acceleration.

Standard features include the ASTC Eagle Claw System and CST Comfort Braking Technology, ensuring stable cornering without speed loss. The 630 Lite variant adds front four-piston fixed calipers for superior braking performance, appealing to driving enthusiasts.

Safety-wise, the Lite Edition’s "bulletproof" battery technology maintains a zero-spontaneous-combustion record across millions of vehicles, with fire and explosion resistance under extreme conditions. It also meets China’s 2025 battery safety standards in advance. The entire Hyper GT series has earned C-NCAP 5-star and C-IASI top safety ratings.

Design-wise, the Lite Edition retains the "wind-inspired" fluid metal aesthetic of the Hyper GT family, while its coupe silhouette offers high customization potential—particularly for style-conscious users seeking personalized modifications.

The launch expands GAC’s Hyper GT portfolio, offering a compelling new choice for trendsetting young consumers.
