花旗此前发布报告表示，毛戈平二十多年来在中国高端化妆品市场建立了强固地位，并持续从国际品牌手中夺取市场份额。本土同行难以轻易复制其竞争优势。
该行预计，毛戈平将在京东“618”购物节期间延续强劲的线上增长势头，并在2024-2027年间实现31%的净利润复合年增长率(CAGR)。
基于其更强的品牌资产、盈利能力及增长前景，花旗认为该公司应享有高于同行的估值溢价。
国泰海通证券指出，展望2025年市场风险偏好显著修复，美护板块因其变化较多、且国货整体呈崛起趋势，成长属性明显、引领新消费。
基本面维度品牌分化加剧，优选产品创新带动高成长标的、关注边际改善，建议关注当前处于品牌势能爆发期的毛戈平等。中信证券认为，美妆行业会持续存在结构性机会。
