Geely Auto Slightly Lifts Issued Share Capital with 45,000-Share Option Exercise

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Auto) disclosed a marginal increase in its issued ordinary share capital following the exercise of employee and related-entity share options granted under the company’s share option scheme adopted on 28 April 2023.

On 12 June 2026, a total of 45,000 new ordinary shares—43,000 by employees and 2,000 by a related-entity participant—were issued at HKD 9.56 per share. The newly issued shares represent approximately 0.0004% of Geely Auto’s pre-event issued share base.

Key post-transaction figures: • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) rose from 10.78 billion to 10.78 billion. • Treasury shares remained unchanged at 63.21 million. • Total issued shares (including treasury shares) increased to 10.85 billion.

The company confirmed the allotment was duly authorised by its board and executed in compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules, with all proceeds received and statutory filings completed. No share repurchases, redemptions, or on-market sales of treasury shares occurred during the period.
