7月28日，中烟香港大涨逾10%！就保持中国境内免税卷烟业务的经营地位与中烟国际达成共识。
7月25日，国家烟草专卖局发布了《境内免税市场烟草制品管理办法（征求意见稿）》。中烟香港公告，据公司初步了解，具备烟草进出口国营贸易资格的唯一企业为中国烟草国际。公司正积极与中烟国际进行洽谈，且已就保持公司自中国烟草总公司集团采购卷烟并独家销售至中国境内免税市场的经营地位达成共识。2024年度，集团约10%的收入来自中国境内免税卷烟业务。
此外，7月23日，中烟香港与四川中烟签订“长城”雪茄全球市场独家经销协议。根据独家经销协议，公司“长城”雪茄的独家经销范围已由原有的泰国、新加坡、中国香港及澳门的免税市场以及中国境内免税市场扩展至全球市场(中国内地除外)，为拓宽公司发展空间，培育新的利润增长点，打造中式雪茄全球销售平台迈出重要一步。
