Sembcorp Industries (U96) announced that its 40%-owned Fujairah F1 Independent Water and Power Plant in the Emirate of Fujairah has not sustained any damage, countering recent media reports that suggested otherwise.

The company added that operations at its Fujairah F1 facility, as well as at the Salalah IWPP and the Manah II Solar Independent Power Project in Oman, continue uninterrupted, though the situation in the region is being closely monitored. All employees at the three plants are safe, and contingency measures are in place to maintain operational stability.

Sembcorp also stated that its natural-gas supply in Singapore remains secure, supported by a diversified mix of long-term piped and liquefied contracts sourced from multiple regions. The group’s scheduled liquefied natural-gas cargoes for 2026 do not originate from the Middle East, and its broader energy portfolio includes renewable power and storage assets to further diversify supply.
