SIIC Environment (Stock Code: 00807) released its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing operational, environmental and social performance for the year ended 31 December 2025.
Revenue and Capacity Growth • Operating revenue reached RMB 7.07 billion, underpinning a year focused on “breakthroughs through mergers and acquisitions, enhancing quality and efficiency.” • Six new projects were secured, adding approximately 380,000 tonnes per day of designed capacity; net effective water-treatment capacity expanded by more than 400,000 tonnes per day. • The group now operates over 250 projects across 20 provinces, managed through five regional headquarters and a solid-waste power generation unit.
Climate and Environmental Performance • Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas emissions fell by 5,822.63 tonnes of CO₂e from 2024 to 779,773.55 tonnes. • Renewable-energy consumption rose 2.54 % year on year to 105.18 million kWh, including 9.01 million kWh of solar power, 96.17 million kWh of biogas and 119.56 million kWh of waste-to-energy generation for self-use. • Tree-planting initiatives offset 833.88 tonnes of CO₂e; total trees planted to date stand at 36,153. • Water recycling volume increased 1.62 % to 79.65 million tonnes, supporting group targets to raise recycled-water share by 20 % from the 2020 base year by 2030. • Hazardous-waste reduction reached 37.80 tonnes, while 320,420.18 tonnes of non-hazardous waste were treated through reduction or recycling routes.
Governance and Risk Management • A three-tier ESG governance structure (Board, Risk & Investment Committee, ESG Working Group) is in place; the Board reviewed ESG performance twice in 2025. • No major risk incidents or corruption cases occurred. Three internal audits were completed, and all employees and directors received anti-corruption training. • All 3,656 suppliers—3,582 in mainland China and 74 overseas—operate under the group’s enhanced integrity and sustainability requirements.
Social Metrics • Workforce totalled 6,512 full-time employees; no fatalities and five recordable injuries were reported. • Safety performance met annual targets after 1,044 safety inspections and 292 emergency drills; employees completed 48,198.50 hours of safety training. • Average training time per employee reached 14.7 hours; 100 % of staff received career-development training. • Staff volunteer service contributed 3,205 hours, and community investment amounted to RMB 5.57 million.
Strategic Outlook SIIC Environment intends to intensify its presence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, deepen digital operations through its Technology and Big Data Centres, and target carbon peaking by 2030 with a pathway to carbon neutrality by 2060.
