消息方面：
澳门8月幸运博彩毛收入221.6亿澳门元，再创今年单月新高，环比升0.14%，同比升12.2%，预估增长12.0%，环比增长0.1%。1-8月份幸运博彩毛收入1,630.5亿澳门元，同比增长7.2%。海通国际表示，展望9月，各家仍将呈现精彩纷呈的活动，有望在淡季推动澳门旅客人数及GGR的提升。
高盛发表研究报告指，澳门博彩企业均将近月的博彩总收入(GGR)强劲表现归因于密集的盛事、股市带动的财富效应、签证政策放宽，以及泰国及菲律宾安全隐忧持续，令更多内地旅客选择港澳作为目的地。对于十一黄金周，基于酒店预订几乎“爆满”，以及与客户沟通的情况，博彩企业普遍预期需求强劲，而全国运动会则不会对博彩收入有显著影响。
