At Sling Group’s 9 June 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), shareholders representing 420.06 million shares—approximately 75.01 % of the 560.00 million shares in issue—voted by poll on seven resolutions. Every resolution received full support, with 100 % of votes cast in favour and none against.
Key approvals:
1. Financial statements and reports • Shareholders adopted the audited consolidated financial statements and the reports of the board and auditor for the year ended 31 December 2025.
2. Board composition and remuneration • Re-election of directors: Mr Yau Frederick Heng Chung, Mr Yau Tai Leung Sammy and Mr Won Chik Kee were all re-elected. • The board was authorised to determine directors’ remuneration.
3. Auditor re-appointment • Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited was re-appointed as external auditor, with the board authorised to fix its remuneration.
4. Capital mandates • Directors received a general mandate to issue and allot new shares up to 20 % of the existing issued share capital. • A separate mandate allows repurchase of up to 10 % of the Company’s shares. • The issuance mandate can be extended by the nominal amount of shares repurchased under the buy-back mandate.
5. Corporate governance update • A special resolution adopted a second amended and restated Memorandum and Articles of Association, completing the Company’s constitutional update.
All directors attended the AGM either in person or electronically, and no shareholder was required to abstain from voting. Tricor Investor Services Limited acted as the scrutineer for poll counting.
