Yesterday, a visit to the production workshop of REPT BATTERO Energy Co., Ltd. (Jiaxing Base) located in Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone revealed rows of commercial vehicle battery cells, each the size of A4 paper, orderly moving down the production line awaiting shipment worldwide.

According to Chief Operating Officer Shi Jiangzhu, these battery cells applied in heavy truck battery swapping have captured a blank market in commercial vehicle batteries. In May this year, REPT BATTERO upgraded its products based on the previous generation, achieving breakthroughs in long-range endurance, fast energy replenishment, and low costs.

In Jiaxing, many enterprises like REPT BATTERO are making leaps toward innovation and continuously breaking through key technologies. From January to July this year, the city's strategic emerging industries achieved an added value of 71.39 billion yuan in above-scale industrial enterprises, ranking third in the province and accounting for 43.4% of above-scale industrial output. The new materials industry generated an added value of 21.9 billion yuan, while the new energy industry reached 18.36 billion yuan, both ranking first in the province.

Walking into the production workshop of Zhejiang Naiteng Technology Co., Ltd. in Haining, new energy light trucks quickly take shape under the assembly work of technical workers.

"Currently, we have delivered nearly 500 new vehicles and have orders for several hundred more," said General Manager Weng Lianhui. This company, established only four years ago, primarily produces and sells new energy light trucks. It has built a complete industrial chain covering new energy logistics vehicles, intelligent chassis, and lithium battery power systems, demonstrating rapid growth with a target of breaking through 100 million yuan in sales this year. The company is also actively expanding overseas markets, having established 15 battery swapping stations in European markets with plans to increase to 50 next year.

Behind the high-quality development of enterprises lies Jiaxing's pursuit of exponential growth in new quality productive forces.

Within 3 minutes, a 60°C seat can be cooled to 30°C. The "intelligent temperature-controlled seats" produced by Zhejiang Bosheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. in Tongxiang achieved sales of 150 million yuan in one year.

In Bosheng Electronic's workshop, these "cooling devices" roll off production lines in batches, heading to production lines of automotive companies like Geely and BYD. "We use thermoelectric semiconductor materials at the bottom of seats, and when cool air blows on the surface, rapid cooling is achieved," said a company representative. The enterprise has independently developed automotive-grade silent centrifugal fans and thermoelectric conversion integrated systems, achieving industrialization and transforming ordinary seats into versatile units combining cooling, heating, and ventilation functions.

In recent years, Jiaxing has been climbing toward innovation, continuously cultivating and strengthening emerging industries, shaping new momentum and advantages for high-quality development, with emerging industries such as new energy and new materials flourishing.

This year, 15 projects from Jiaxing were selected for emerging industry cluster chain strengthening and complementation ("415X" cluster new quality productive forces) projects, receiving 51 million yuan in provincial financial support.
