U.S. S&P Global Manufacturing PMI Preliminary Reading for May Exceeds Expectations

The preliminary reading for the U.S. S&P Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for May came in at 55.3, surpassing the expected 53.8 and the previous reading of 54.

The preliminary reading for the U.S. S&P Global Services PMI for May was 50.9, compared to an expectation of 51.2 and a prior reading of 51.

The preliminary reading for the U.S. S&P Global Composite PMI for May was 51.7, matching the prior reading and slightly below the expected 51.8.
