According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first eight months of this year, China's software business revenue exceeded 10 trillion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 8.8%. The total profit of the software industry grew by 1.3% year-on-year, while software business exports reached 45.99 billion US dollars, up 12.5% year-on-year.

In terms of performance by segment, revenue from software products maintained steady growth. During the first eight months, software product revenue increased by 6% year-on-year, accounting for 21.5% of the industry's total revenue.

Revenue from information technology services continued to grow during the same period, making up 68.7% of the industry's total revenue. Within this category, cloud computing and big data services together achieved a year-on-year revenue increase of 11.1%, representing 17.3% of information technology services revenue.
