Amcor PLC's stock price soared 5.01% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the release of its fiscal second-quarter financial results.
The packaging company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.86 for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, an increase from $0.80 in the same period last year and surpassing the FactSet analyst consensus estimate of $0.84. Net sales surged to $5.45 billion, a significant rise from $3.24 billion a year earlier, primarily driven by the acquisition of Berry Global.
Furthermore, the company reaffirmed its full-year fiscal 2026 guidance, expecting adjusted EPS in the range of $4.00 to $4.15, which represents 12% to 17% growth on a constant currency basis. The board also declared an increased quarterly dividend of $0.65 per share, up from $0.6375 a year earlier.
