The highly anticipated Wanli International Commercial and Entertainment Complex is set to open on December 26. Among its key components, the Wanli·Nuolan Hotel began online reservations last weekend, while Wanli·Wangfujing WellTown and Wanli·Tingyun Town will debut simultaneously on the opening day.

Inspired by the ancient Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Nuolan Hotel features a vertical ecological space with arched glass facades and cantilevered "crystal boxes," offering guests an immersive vacation experience. The hotel comprises 329 uniquely themed rooms, including pet-friendly and family suites, some of which provide direct views of Universal Studios Beijing. Bookings are available via the BTG Hotels Group platform and major travel websites. As observed on Tongcheng Travel’s platform, certain premium room categories were already sold out, with remaining options priced around ¥1,000+.

Nuolan Hotel will launch six themed restaurants, initially opening three distinctive dining spaces: an all-day restaurant serving international and canal-region breakfasts alongside Italian cuisine; "Chuanyue Haitang," a fusion of Sichuan and Cantonese flavors curated by three Michelin-starred chefs; and "Sunset Café," specializing in French desserts and artisanal coffee—accessible to both guests and visitors.

Adjacent to Universal Studios, Wangfujing Well-Town—Beijing’s largest outlet mall—adopts an innovative hybrid model combining luxury brands, curated retail, F&B, and art-infused experiences. Over 500 brands will operate here, with 51% being debut locations, signaling a boost for regional consumption.

Meanwhile, the open-block-designed Tingyun Town, resembling a "micro-resort" with fountains and greenery, will introduce national firsts like the China National Geographic Exploration Center and "The Little Prince" theme park, alongside nightlife venues to energize the local economy.

Strategically positioned near Universal Studios, Wanli aims to complement the theme park’s tourist appeal by capturing deeper consumer spending, accelerating the sub-center’s shift from transit tourism to sustained consumption.

**Employment Drive Supports Wanli’s Launch** On November 1, a targeted job fair for Wanli’s brand tenants was held in Tongzhou District, offering 887 positions across 82 merchants. Nearly 300 preliminary hires were secured, while a livestreamed recruitment session attracted 221,000 online viewers.

Earlier, Beijing’s Human Resources Bureau collaborated with local authorities to address labor shortages ahead of Wanli’s opening, providing tailored solutions like employment subsidies to ease hiring pressures. Multi-channel recruitment campaigns via online platforms and live broadcasts further facilitated staffing solutions for businesses.
