Alibaba's stock surged 5.03% during intraday trading on Wednesday, marking a significant upward movement for the technology giant.
The rally appears to be driven by two key business developments. First, Alibaba Cloud officially announced that its JVS Claw service is now fully open to all users without requiring an invitation code. The service offers new practical features including voice input, shared file collaboration, and one-click repair, along with new subscription plans aimed at lowering the barrier to entry for users.
More significantly, Alibaba has introduced new high-performance CPU chips designed specifically for the AI Agent market. The company unveiled its flagship CPU Xuantie C950 and high-efficiency CPU Xuantie C925, which are built on the open-source RISC-V architecture and feature self-developed AI acceleration engines. These chips natively support large-scale AI models with hundreds of billions of parameters and represent Alibaba's push to compete in the high-end AI computing space, potentially positioning RISC-V as a competitor to traditional x86 and Arm architectures.
