On August 25, the vessel "Chuanweilina" loaded with Brazilian pulp successfully docked at the pulp terminal of Xilian Company at Shandong Port Qingdao Port for cargo discharge operations. The vessel will load domestic commodity containers bound for Belgium on its return journey, marking the successful opening of the "Brazil-Qingdao-Belgium" international logistics corridor by Qingdao Port. This achievement realizes bidirectional smooth flow with "incoming cargo sources and outgoing cargo sources," establishing a logistics loop that enables "fast import of raw materials and fast export of finished products," providing strong support for "Made in China" products to efficiently enter international markets and rapidly integrate into global markets.

The smooth operation of this international logistics corridor for pulp cargo represents a vivid illustration of Qingdao Port's efforts to weave a dense "bidirectional" logistics network. A relevant official from Qingdao Port explained: "Since the beginning of this year, Qingdao Port has continuously expanded 'bidirectional' channels for break-bulk cargo routes, optimizing route frequencies and port calls for overseas markets, proactively connecting with cargo owners to expand new goods and categories beyond pulp, enlarging the cargo source base, and promoting the sustained and stable operation of multiple routes including 'Brazil-Qingdao-Belgium,' 'Brazil-Qingdao-Netherlands,' and 'Brazil-Qingdao-Canada,' establishing efficient maritime links for hinterland enterprises to export equipment, construction machinery, and other materials, as well as import processing raw materials."

According to information obtained, from January to August this year, Qingdao Port added 5 new break-bulk cargo routes, with a cumulative layout of over 40 break-bulk cargo routes, directly connecting the "cargo owner-port-shipping company" service "last mile." Additionally, Qingdao Port continues to develop sea-rail intermodal transport, upgrade hardware capabilities, and optimize service quality and efficiency. Its pulp handling efficiency ranks among the world's top levels, constructing a three-dimensional logistics system of "sea-land coordination and internal-external connection," and innovatively creating a "pulp + container + break-bulk cargo" composite single-port loading and unloading model, becoming the preferred port that domestic and international customers view as "reliable, worry-free, and caring."

Looking ahead, Shandong Port Qingdao Port will further leverage its hub advantages, continuously weave dense "bidirectional" logistics corridors, enhance core competitiveness, and build solid maritime logistics bridges for more "Made in China" products to reach the world and for global quality resources to efficiently enter China, demonstrating port responsibility and contributing port strength in constructing a new development pattern.
