Fujian Aims to Lead in Data Intelligence, Hydrogen Energy, Advanced Materials and Healthcare to Build Future Industry Pilot Zone

Fujian Provincial Government has recently issued the "Action Plan for Accelerating Comprehensive Green Transformation of Fujian's Economic and Social Development." The plan proposes to promote the development and expansion of green low-carbon industries.

Focusing on advantageous sectors including optoelectronics, integrated circuits, and new energy, the province will cultivate national-level strategic emerging industry clusters and develop specialized parks such as the Xiamen Biomedical Port.

The plan emphasizes innovative development of future industries, striving for breakthrough leadership in data intelligence, hydrogen energy, advanced new materials, health and new pharmaceuticals to establish a pilot zone for future industries.

The province will also strengthen the integrated development of culture and tourism industries, supporting Wuyishan and Gulangyu Island in building world-class tourist destinations.

By 2030, the energy-saving and environmental protection industry is targeted to reach a scale of approximately 300 billion yuan.
