联合集团(股份代号：373)与其间接非全资附属公司新鴻基(股份代号：86)于2025年12月22日联合公布，认购人(Itso Limited，隶属新鴻基间接全资附属公司)同意投入最高1亿美元资金(约7.7815亿港元)，投资于由Trian Partners新设立并管理的共同投资基金，以参与收购Janus Henderson Group plc(JHG)。
根据公告，JHG是一家全球资产管理公司，目前在纽约证券交易所上市，所管理的资产规模约4,840亿美元。Trian Partners目前持有JHG约20.6%已发行股份，本次收购将以每股49.00美元的现金形式，收购Trian Partners尚未拥有或控制的JHG已发行普通股。
认购人承诺金额将由新鴻基集团的内部资源拨付，资金或可根据其他共同投资者的加入情况或实际融资需求进行下调。该交易在上市规则第14章适用的百分比率超过5%但低于25%，对于新鴻基及联合集团均构成须予披露交易，均已豁免股东批准要求。联合集团持有新鴻基约73.51%的权益。公告披露，交易完成后认购人通过基金间接持有的JHG权益预计不会超过5%。
