公司表示，若董事会行使回购授权，所需资金将从符合开曼群岛法规及公司细则允许的法定来源支付。董事会指出，回购股份可能提升每股收益及资产净值，认同买回股份有助于维护整体股东利益，并强调后续将综合考虑市场情况及资金安排以开展回购。
此外，公告提到，为确定出席及表决资格，公司2026年5月28日至6月2日期间将暂停办理股份过户手续。公告亦显示，过去12个月，公司股价在2025年7月最高曾达每股0.11港元，最低于2026年2月达每股0.056港元。董事会认为此举符合公司与股东的总体利益，呼吁股东在即将召开的股东周年大会上审阅并表决相关回购计划。
