JP Morgan has released a research report initiating coverage on SITC (01308) with a "Buy" rating. The investment bank highlights the company's high-density and resilient network within Asia, a diversified customer base spanning Greater China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, along with a prudent capital allocation strategy.

The rating is also supported by SITC's industry-leading operating cash flow, net cash position, and high dividend payout ratio. JP Morgan has set a price target of HK$47 for SITC, which corresponds to approximately 11 times the forecasted enterprise value-to-EBITDA ratio for 2027, nearing the upper end of the industry range.

JP Morgan notes that at the current share price, SITC trades at about 10.9 times its forecasted price-to-earnings ratio for 2027, deeming this valuation premium as reasonable. The firm believes the market has not yet fully priced in SITC's structural advantages, disciplined fleet management, and net cash position maintained since 2017, which underpins its industry-leading return on equity, strong operating cash flow, and high dividend history.
